Phil WALSH R.I.P -domestic violence hits again..

Phil WALSH is the very popular coach of the ADELAIDE CROWS Football club in the AFL.

His dynamic and different coaching and mentoring style has reinvigorated the Crows this year.

This morning at about 2am he was stabbed to death allegedly by his 26 year old son at Phils home address. His wife was also stabbed.

RIP, a very very high profile death due to domestic violence.. This may shine more light onto family member domestic violence in society.. it is not just men bashing women, there is so much more than that...

RIP.

Not being an AFL fan, I have no idea who this bloke is, or any of the circumstances surrounding the events leading up to this, who was being abused, was it the father in question or the son and was this in responce to the abuse.

Very sad either way.

I know very little of AFL and who he is other then his occupation.

I fear that Australia is going to, as seems to be the rule of late, have a drama queen fit and embarrass us all with an over-the-top and ridiculous outpouring of grief- again.

The media will be licking their collective chops over the amount of story they'll have.

Sad for family, friends and work colleagues.

I would have thought that maybe if this person is unknown to you or if you are unaffected by this you could maybe have not commented??

I find it easy to refrain from saying anything about other sporting, acting, singing or life personalities when they pass and I know nothing of them. The fact it is mentioned is usually a clue someone cares about it.

I would have thought that someone who has been a player and coach In elite football in sa vic wa and qld and been considered a man who was more interested in the whole players wellbeing as opposed to just game day would be someone we would have extra respect for in today's society.. Maybe not..
