Driveshaft help in Darwin/Katherine/jabiru
Hi all,
Can anyone recommend a drive shaft specialist in the Darwin/Katherine/jabiru area? I'm currently camped at jabiru noticed a driveline vibe driving over from Darwin, found one of the unis in my DC joint was very dry on the flange side and has some movement, odly the DC side of the same uni seems fine... After chatting to the guy who made it for me he thinks replacing the uni should be fine as the DC looks good.... I suspect my recent exhaust change might have helped cook the uni but it has done 80k so it's a decent run!
Any I am after a 5-178x 1350 uni and either the equipment to change it or a shop willing to do it fast, we are supposed to be headed off across tge savannah way later this week and don't want to do it in rear wheel drive!
Any help would be great

I'm sure Ean Austral would be in the know, worth a PM.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Contact CBC bearings on 8984 3558 they would be your best bet for a uni in Darwin. They had the uni's for my D2 on the shelf several years ago.
Ask them about a courier that runs out to Jabiru, im sure someone like Red dog or Toll would do a service a couple times a week. There must be a local mechanic in Jabiru that can do it, all he needs is a vice and few sockets or similar to knock the caps out and in.
Worse case and you have to come to Darwin send me a PM and we can work something out.
Cheers Ean
