What can I do with old brake rotors?

So I've ordered new rotors and sent my old pads off to have new pad fitted but what can I do with the old rotors.

They are a fair lump of steel and I think someone has to have come up with an idea of what they can be used for. Art, Craft or something like that. I can stick weld reasonable and I'm buying an AC/DC TIG welder with this years tax return.

    Ideas please.

    Happy Days.

Not just me that then... I couldn't help but think that I should have a use for a big lump of metal.

We welded a tube onto one, put an umbrella in, it's a stand when we go to the markets.

Nah, just cheaper. Queensland Friction Materials are pretty good to talk to. Very helpful and will work with you for what ever you want. I want something that will work well from stone cold when I need traction control to work when in mud and going slow. The heaviest trailer I tow is only 500kg fully loaded but it's unbraked so I go across the weigh bridge at 2950kg GCM. They gave me a few options, some would provide better friction but might sqeal if only used gentally, some have more dust but are softer on the rotors, some might sound grindy.

    Happy Days
