camp cooking

I take a single burner cartridge type butane jobbie and a small hot plate about a foot square which doubles as a jacking plate, but Ive got the 40l Waeco and a 60l Tropical Ice box, so I can carry enough beer that I dont care what I eat!

I'm glad my wife's not following your instructions Baz, she would have turned the monitor upside down about three time by now

Yes that sounds fine to me Baz, but don't carry it with you if you're not going to use it, I'll collect it when we're back in Sydney one day.
Look forward to catching up for a beer though.
I'll post some pics over the weekend of my set-up so you'll recognise me too, I'll be staying in the caravan park on Friday and Sat so we're sure to catch up at some point.

We use various items.
In the roller drawers in the back of the Fender we keep a single butane burner with extra cans for use with saucepans and frypans, a bush kettle and metho burner for fresh coffee (my missus baulked a little at the cost of the bush kettle, but it is the single most used item as it boils enough water for 5-6 cup in about 4 minutes, and my missus has to have her coffee).
In the camper trailer usually two camp ovens, maybe three depends on how many people. 1 large, 1 med, 1 small. A two burner flat fold up gas bbq (the roundabout drove us nuts and any more than 4 people was a slow process). A wok, a saucepan, a frypan, lots of alfoil for fire coles cooking and a nice Stainless Steel 1 litre coffe plunger (this item attracts the most attention early in the morning and the most jealous/ annoyed looks). If an open fire is probable I may also chuck in a hot plate.
