Only odd if you don't understand. The Earth's crust has faults everywhere. It floats on the outer mantle so no place will ever be totally free of earthquakes.

My mate's saying there seems to be a lot of smoke or dust near Tibrogargan, may or may mot be related.

yes but i didnt think there were any faults around brisbane.
unlike adelaide which is built on 5 or 6 fault lines
not that interplate earthquares are unheard of.

as the vast majority of quakes happens near fault lines.
