So when you get the 90 you can have it all to yourself.

My wife decided to take the Puma for a run,and she couldn't find where the key went into the ignition.For those that don't know it is on the left of the steering column,not the right.

That was her first and last go at driving a Defender.

She loves the D4,difficult to get her out of it.

Back to the OP,don't try ,Ron,you will never understand her.

I disagree. The 90 is extremely useful. Just not very comfy to sleep in when all diplomatic efforts at understanding my wife have failed.

It is very fun to drive though.

Having both the 90 is completely different to drive compared to the 110. We've only taken it off-road once but it was so much fun. From a practical point of view its completely impractical for us but its fun to drive.

Truck like vehicle, the length of a family sedan.

I had a 110 and it wasn't the most useful of vehicles, either.

I didn't say I don't like them. I do. I'd have another. I sold mine because I couldn't justify having two Land Rovers. So I kept the more practical and comfortable one.

But I don't think Defenders are that useful or practical. The rear door is too narrow to be useful. The load area isn't that great. I think a D2 would be a far more practical vehicle. (Note that I have never owned a D2)

I must be missing something. I think they're really comfortable. As for practical... I sold the practical car to buy the Defender. And I bought a 90 which is really impractical but the best fun ever.

Each to their own, it depends how much weight one places on various attributes. A motorbike isn't very practical in many situations, but it's a heck of a lot of fun, according to some.
