    Now I don't know which way to turn.

    I used the term truckie to a "trucker" a while back , who told me truckies are those short balding guys with a gut, wearing stubbies , a Jackie Howe and thongs and don't own the trucks.

    He said truckers own their trucks , dress appropriately and don't swear on the CB all day at other motorists.

    Or is it the other way round?

    I've never heard that differentiation, I've always considered my self a truckie, even when I owned trucks. Australia has truckies North America has truckers.

    I exist and I never swear on the CB/UHF, I've been known to chastise those who do, regardless of what type of vehicle or homebase from which they are broadcasting.
