A country doesnt have two Prime Ministers, for good reason. You cant have one Prime Minister saying they will introduce a GST, and another Prime Minister saying they wont introduce a GST. It doesnt work.

There needs to be a focus and compatible steps to achieve most things. A mixed hierarchy of control can easily lead to chaos.

They seem to be wholly in control of themselves, no mixed hierarchy of control.

We seem to have one prime minister, and there is certainly chaos, they have no F'n idea what they are doing, apart from feathering their own nest.

They need to start to run the country....

The one with wheels amazes me the most. Can it get up a long flight of stairs or an escalator i wonder.

Apparently the NSW government has been testing vehicles in the Sydney area during 2018.

Some of the issues that found were that the car read the 40KPH signs on the back of buses as 40KPH speed limit signs and would slow quickly form the speed they were doing to 40kph causing confusion for other drivers.

When longitudinal cracks develop in roads, they are often filled with molten tar and in concrete roads can extend for kms. The autonomous cars are designed to basically follow the white lines on the side of roads but they design these tar lines should be followed so start following with the result that the cars wander all over the road following the tar.

As well as "radar" to detect vehicles ahead, autonomous also use visual queues like light and dark. Where building shadows come across the road, the autonomous vehicle takes these to be nearby cars and serve to miss them.

So nothing that cannot be sorted out with further development but the technology is not quite there.

Go on, do it. It'll work at least for a week or two until the updates are installed. And Mr Plod might get you for an illegal sign while you're at it too.
