Just had a call from smash repairs...battery flat as. :mad:
He's going to put it on charger for me.
I only bought the battery last year but I'm thinking maybe I should buy a new one just in case this one doesn't last.
Also do you think the insurance will coff up for replacement battery seeing as it wasn't my fault that the car got banged up.

I wouldsuggest that you claim it, as it is flat as the result of the prang,andit being flat could be a short in the rear wiring,as a result of said prang,the vehicle will need to be recoded so why not claim it.

Your battery could have been damaged in the crash, or flattened beyond redemption by having the crash.
I'd be asking him to throw a new battery in there and try again.
