I noticed Rotary was selling a nice calendar of the Glasshouse Mountains as a fund-raiser, so I bought a dozen to add to presents. Good to help a charitable cause, plus the photos by local photographers are excellent.

So Mick you giving me a hybrid for crissy ;)
It's still for sale. I'll decorate it in tinsel for you.
It's running much better with the new spark plugs and a little help from Kyle who put the leads on the right plugs for me.
Thanks Kyle.
Someone wants to buy themselves a 101 for christmas. They just spent half an hour trying to convince me to sell them one of mine. They made some good points in their argument.
I really need to work out what to buy family for christmas. Unfortunately, anything to do with Landrover will not go down well.
I'm getting the Mrs a metal detector. She's always wanted one apparently. She thinks she's going to find treasure - but when she gets bored with it , I thought it may come in handy when I lose a bolt or something.
cheers,
D
I'm in the same boat Mick - have no idea what to get anyone this year. Christmas Day will be a quiet affair for us - just us, the kids and their partners - no Mum, brother or in laws this year.
Now, the in laws I can sort - nothing - that's easy. I need to get Mum something before catching up with her in 2 weeks. The kids, well, no idea either....
Yvonne - a Perentie. ;)
Gee's and I opened this thread thinking there could be some good suggestion here for the boss women ......... :wasntme:

Yeah so far it's just random stuff, for tis the season of contrived expectation and family peer pressure driven by guilt marketing. ....Let's start Land Rover owners religion day and no one is allowed to mention the breakdowns and we'll only talk about failed marriages with other brands 🙃 And no green oval trinkets!
