    Thats it SP2 gotta get XP professional the XP home edition with SP2 has alot of problems the professional is much more user friendly or use Home edition with SP1 is better.

    I also get the above, always, and half my posts get the invalid,_session comeback when posted but will battle on, gives me something to swear about even though I have plenty of other reasons.

    I used to have the same problem but not anymore.

    I wish I ould tell you how I fixed it, I really do, but I have no idea.

    The message however is that it can be fixed... somehow.
    It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

    I had the same problem, until I started turning the McAfee Security Suite privacy service off, problem solved [img]style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif[/img]

    I know I'm not a big poster like some other members, but I'm always lurking, learning :wink:

    Dunno if this'll help or not.

    However at work I run Windows 2000 and I get the aforementioned errors (including "invalid session" when posting occasionally).

    At home I run Windows XP Professional and I don't get any of the aforementioned errors.

    The main difference I can see (apart from the OS) is that at work we run a proxy server, so all HTTP requests go through there. Until now I just assumed the proxy server was screwing things up when I tried posting & reading from work.
