    Blasted AULRO Shortcoming!

    AULRO needs another warning system.

It sent a birthday greeting to my wife this morning. Why wasn't I sent a heads up yesterday?

I only cottoned on that I'd forgotten when Elisabeth started getting a number of phone calls from family and friends this morning and I overheard the conversations. She said she was waiting to see just how long it took me. We were at the local coffee roaster having a coffee when it did (as she took another call).

I must remember to put her birthday into my phone.

    When Technology Fails

Next to the house phone there lives the large wall calendar that, when put up on the first of January, has all the important dates entered on it in advance. No excuses then relying on someone else to do your remembering for you.

That's blasphemy. The holy (literally), headpiece of the pastafarians is the colander

Not to be confused with a calender.

(It's hard to find a pic of a calender because so many people spell "calendar" as "calender".)

Yes, my wife is proficient in the art of page turning and doesn't want this important craft skill to die out. She has a traditional street directory and something called a "diary", even says so on the cover.
