Yes please Stewie, if you are able to provide any contact details that would be very much appreciated.

Thats cheap as chips and would be with you within a week, do you have UK costs also?

The person that I had dealing with is no longer at the organization, he actually left between when the items got shipped and when I got them as I tried to send a big thank you and got an email bounce.

I needed to fill out a signed Letter of Authority. Which allowed them to act on my behalf for all of the taxation and shipping paperwork. Once they had that they took charge. It worked very differently in Italy to the UK. I have no idea why but the package sizes had a similar size. In Italy they came and picked up the package, in the UK not so much, I had to get the item delivered to a location and it was forwarded from there.

The only contact number that I have now is +44 (0) 117 9387966 if there are any issues get back to me, I have all the original paperwork and other names etc but it is in storage. I will be heading to storage late next week.

Try this site Dazmac Although they specialize in vehicles, it looks like they do general freight forwarding too, including sea freight. For such a small package they would surely be able to stick it in a shared container.
I recently got a quote for importing a vehicle from the UK and they got back to me quickly with a detailed quote.
    Might be worth a try.

Personally I'd be going with the air freight at the price you've been quoted. I sent a wheel carrier to the USA last year by sea freight, in a crate. Even though I went through a freight forwarder, it was a royal pain in the arse. There was so much extra paperwork for sea freight, it was ridiculous. I think the main problem was US ports have such high security these days, they needed to know exactly what was in the crate and exactly where it was packed in what container.
Hopefully the UK is easier to deal with.

    Good luck.
