Thread: Adverts that make you laugh

It's apparently been smashed in the front and has done 200,000 km, so I think he's being very optimistic.
If he gets that, I reckon the value of my Defender will have doubled.

Looking at the front the smash is quite bad too, and the sides dont look very happy either! The aircon pump has no belt on, not to mention the mat of spiders webs under the bonnet that point to it not having being started for a very long time. I would not part with 3 grand never mind 30,000!

Not in the same theme, but what's getting to me ATM is an ad on TV for a bank. The scenario is the young business person got a loan for a flying school business and takes his WWII fighter pilot grandfather up for a fly.

He describes his father as flying "Chittyhawks during the war", anyone who knows anything about aviation knows they were "Kittyhawks" and at that moment you know its only actors doing a voice over, if not everyone in the ad.

I dont think it is a mistake as he actually put a comma in ie 30,000 dollars. I think he just a nutter.
