Optus has issues yesterday.......but I don't believe it made the news. It affect the Internet to our 22 sites across Australia........

Our company mobile are with Telstra....I was trying to manage a breakdown, sure it was a little frustrating but **** happens.

We are with Telstra at home as well.......

We won't be changing as I think it's still by far the best mobile network......

25 years ago, was a early customer for 13xxxx, 131600 in fact.
They could never get the DB right, so they gave us read access to the relevant servers in each State. We would check the config once a week, and then report the errors to Customer Service, had some fun conversations

Hears a tip Andy. When I moved in here, Telstra told me it would be two weeks before they could get me connected. Well did I go off? I can't function in a state of disconnectetude. ( Is that a word? ) I have to be connected now.
I must have spoken to every single person in the Philippines Call Centre Including the cleaners. The last person I spoke to asked "Are you all right?". "No I'm Not all right'. I replied.
The next voice I heard was a nice lady in Hobart. I didn't realise it then but I was dealing with the section which looks after the customers with serious medical conditions. I was connected the next day. It took two years of telling them every billing day, that I didn't need the service before I was taken off their list.
    Cheers, Billy.

I sent them a corker of a complaint on the complaint line tonite.Told them not to get another overseas call centre worker to call as they cant do anything dont know anything except to say "sorry sir",get an Aussie to call ASAP,thats how my NBN issues were sorted.Told them the same crap happened when they stuffed my NBN connection and Im now going to listen to the telemarketers hunting new business.**** TELSTRA.
3 weeks is a ****ing joke.
Also told them somebody I know(Eevo) tells me its a simple password/loggin fix which the last tech wouldnt do.

I didn't notice the outage this time, although I had no data that for a while one morning.

I gave up completely on the oVerseas call centre,a while ago absolutely completely useless. They couldn't even understand what I was talking about,in fact they couldn't even understand the English language. Then they transfer you here and there around in circles and eventually cut you off and you have to ring back and start over again

We have a business manager they call them, who is here in Aus and I speak to her.She said they get more complaints from issues with the overseas call centre than anything else.

    No surprise.

She sorts things out quickly and efficiently.

If you have a local Telstra shop it may be worth a visit as well, ours has a tech on staff full time, and he is very good as well.

The poor devils in the shop will get the same runaround as you got, but they will try for you.......In a trying sort of way.
