Chat away is nicer for the rest of us. I here there is a app ( software tool) for phones which chats away randomly keeping the scammers on the phone as long as possible

Agreed, I don't want to talk to them......no patience for these types of calls.

You can just put the phone down and walk away. See how long they wait.

That scam has been well publicised lately. As mentioned the ATO never rings/texts you, they always send letters.

Maybe, with Australia Post deliberately (?) slowing down letter delivery times (to encourage their 'new' service of Priority Paid...) to nearly double... the ATO fears you may grow old, spend and enjoy your ill-gotten gains before they can steal it back from you !

Wonder how many suckers they get...?

A modern day paying scam from that old chestnut, supposedly sent to various important People... or your friends. : "All is discovered, - flee at once!"
