    Ice coffee

Anybody got a good recipe for ice coffee. I am after an easy, economical, good tasting concoction that I can make in three litre batches.

Yep. We got great ice coffee here in SA called Farmers Union Ice Coffee. Just jump in Land Rover of ur choice, drive for couple days to SA, go into shop and buy it in 3 litre bottle......enjoy. Then settle in SA to buy ice coffee whenever u want it.

The ready made cartons of iced coffee are rubbish.

Try Bickfords Iced Coffee Syrup is in my fridge. Coles and Woolies have it.

Well neither of you two are much help.
Rod, Farmers Union would rate at number four, nationally. Equal first is Ice Break (Queensland) and Territory's Own Iced Coffee(NT), next is Harvey Fresh Cappuccino (WA).
    Ron, I hate chicory.
At present I buy 2 X 2 litre Ice Break, a day but at seven bucks a bottle it gets a bit expensive. I would like more flavour too.

The chicory makes it taste like those fake health coffee's like Caro.

Not bad in themselves...... just not coffee.

Mmmmmm, I'm with you Mick, but a couple of litres in my smoko esky may present a slight problem at work.

I understand that. You could water down the milk.

I'm sitting here drinking the FU Strong IC.

Double shot of espresso (wood fired beans) over a few chunks of ice. Pour very cold milk over it. Consume. Doesn't get much better than that. Quick and easy and doable anywhere.

Yeah, I even have a poncy manual hand-pump espresso machine that goes touring with me. Errr... I've said too much, haven't I?
