I think the writing was on the wall when they put that ridiculous tumblehome waistline on the series II, pure styling. David Bache should be ashamed of himself, turned Land Rovers into hairdresser's cars.

My point exactly. What sort of self respecting Land Rover has cup holders, even if they don't really work.

I wish the cupholders in my D2 worked. Useless things. Can barely fit anything in them, and when you do jam a cup in it obscures the air-conditioning controls. Useless. :mad::mad:

My Defender has cupholders. Very useful.
