Awesome Pubs and pub meals?

Criterion hotel at Rochester does an excellent meal reef and beef is my favorite though

South Kolan pub, abit west of Bundy on the way to Gin Gin. They have a "sheilas steak" and a "blokes steak". I defy anyone to get through the "blokes" one.

The Overland Corner pub is not too far from me - sadly a few years ago they changed hands and on a recent visit I felt as if we were imposing on them to order a Saturday lunch.. (that said..it was still nice)

The TUCKERBOX Restaurant (which has a pub licence) in ANDAMOOKA, great tucker.. do one steak that isnt on the menu and is magnificent, some from this forum have been I understand. :)

The OODLAWIRRA Pub between YUNTA and PETERBOROUGH near NACKERA used to do really good stuff, including soups etc, the owner used to be chef at the Hilton Adelaide! (opposite the fruit fly station)

mmm, I'll have to stop to do a fruit fly check in the morning of the 17th Mar.

Wonder if the pub will do a breakfast?

it'll be more like lunchtime...sounds better.

Havent been to Andamooka for about 20yrs, was the tuckerbox the one next door to the Motel with the beer bottle turret? If so I had a great steak there back then with my Dad.

I accept that challenge, well in July anyway :)

PS; is that pronounced the same as Colon in an American accent? When I first read it i thought it was a euphemism for Descending colon :wasntme:
