    Awesome Pubs and pub meals?

Bests Pubs: Pubs you would drive 100ks+ to eat at.

The Apallonian Hotel (Sunny coast area, QLD); An old favorite but is pretty nuts there for the Sunday roast these days, still well worth it though. Can camp down at the lake (sailing club also do a good feed)
Food,Pub and Location are top notch
Sunday Spit Roast | Apollonian Hotel

Kevington hotel (Mansfeild area Vic): fantastic! great spot could fish from the beer garden if you wanted. Accomadation out back or camp site next door
Food is decent, pub is great and location 10/10
    Kevington Hotel

Humpty Doo Hotel (NT): Good food but I haven't been there in 12 yrs and have heard its changed a bit now

Iluka pub (far north coast NSW)= Not quite as spectacular as the view from the Yamba pub but much more relaxed IMHO.

Just got back from a fishing charter with the boys at Walaroo South Australia. Our digs were just up the road from the Coppers Alehouse. Top brew and top feed.

Coopers Alehouse Wallaroo | Yorke Peninsula, South Australia

The schnitzels were on a plate that was as wide as the table and the wood fired pizzas were great value and size. The seafood is also top knotch with King George Whiting, blue swimmer crabs and garfish a specialty

If in this area I would drop in - the view is also pretty good looking out over the gulf and the canals

Graze restaurant @ the Willow tree hotel (Willow Tree, New england highway NSW).
Not 'schnitzel and chips' budget, but if you could only eat steak once a year, this would be the pick- go the rib eye
They have their own farms, hand pick the cattle that they butcher in house. They have won some fancy awards and stuff, but they are still an honest country pub with a great feed.

Sounds dam good! Will definitely try them one day, heading to Armidale over Easter but that might be a bit far though. Too bad the Nymboida pub is closed as I loved stopping by there.

It has been a few years but the Albury Hotel did put on an awesome counterlunch.

    Anyone been there recently?

I loved that pub for it's Irish beers and food.

Buxton pub. What a great little pub with a decent meal. Gembrook pub, was a great meal some years back. When I was working out of Miles there was a pub in Condibri. Great little watering hole.

None. I wouldn't drive even 10km to eat at a pub.
