The new ones are crap, but the best cars I've had (most reliable) have all been Commodores. I've had a VB V8 - had that for 4 years, trouble free before selling it on, a VN that we had for a decade and put over 250,000KM on and only replaced the in tank fuel pump, set of front disks and tyres/brake pads in all that time.
Also had a VR for a while, but had no need for it, so sold it on.
