If they are the same as the ones I have changed, not a fun job. The one that this mob sell you remove the retaining bolt,fit a drift in the hole, select a suitable size sledge, think of your missus and belt the ( insert word of your choice) out of it. What made it worse for the one I did is that it was about fifty years old. The aluminum tapered collets had corroded which also did not help. Had to drill some of them. Got most of them out then they come up and said we are going to ditch that shaft and knives and use a new one. :) not.Quote:

yep looks very similar.....we would just oxy them off and fit complete new assemblies.
every night there would always be several to do.
even with full lockout/tagout procedure I hated climbing in there.
and it was always wet and sloppy from washing out.
They are certainly fun to work on. Have had to dig a couple out. What I noticed the hard way was how the pug knives wear nice and sharp. Also have had to replace the pug liner.
