Congrats Ron, Ours (32nd) is St Patricks day, hard to forget.

I enjoy movies and dining, but my wife likes to go to movies in the afternoon and dining early....like 6pm and by 630 shes full, doesn't want desert , doesn't want to go for coffee or anything.....just home and go to sleep.

you know the old story about a washing machine............

    Congrats to you, too.

Ditto for my wife. We tend to go for lunch.

I tried going to the movies last year (Isle of Man racing movie) as I had a free ticket. I had to leave soon after as I never thought to take ear plugs and the sound levels were so high, it was painful. Had I ridden instead of driving, I'd have had ear plugs. Suffice to say, I now carry ear plugs in my car.

    Ya can't win you know.

I'm partly deaf (miitary) and have aids which I choose to wear when I want.

recently went to a ride day at queensland raceway and with the hearing aids it too loud for me.

why do you wear ear plugs when you ride....you don't have a hardly rideable.

Because I want keep what hearing I have left. Helmets are very noisy, it's not the bike.

I wear earmuffs or earplugs when using power tools or mowing, too.

I'd be pretty unimpressed too if I had to sit through a movie of people riding motorcycles on a British island.

    How boring.

Is it any wonder the tickets were free.

The others paid for their tickets. I'd been given some movie tickets nearly 12 months before and they were due to expire so I had to use them. In the time since I'd received the tickets, I hadn't seen anything on offer at the local Hoyts multiplex that had remotely appealed to me.
