I had a great coffee at MacDonalds once, walked across the road to the local cafe and got a salad sandwich and a double shot cappucino, then walked back to Maccas and had it, I'd rather starv than eat at MacDonalds.
    Cheers Baz.

One thing I will say about Maccas is that they have car parking!

Often they are on major highways where all manner of caravans and trailers (attempt) to stop for a break but rarely are there caravan/trailer parking bays and almost always, if its there at all, its dotted with cars without trailers blocking trailer parking and nothing is done.

You won't find me on: faceplant; Scipe; Infragam; LumpedIn; ShapCnat or Twitting. I'm just not that interesting.

    That would be a sight.
One thing I can't work out is why all these fast food outlet even have such large store fronts when all they really need is a smaller footprint with a drive through.
It seems the walk-in customer is treated with little respect.
It seems all the staff are attending to drive through customers.
So the lazy ones that won't get out of their cars and backsides get priority service whilst the ins tore customers are forced to wait.

The best thing about Maccas when traveling with small kids are the rest rooms. They clean them regularly and they actually have a change table. At most servos it ends up being the Disco tailgate.

I wonder if outlets opened up selling fresh made sandwiches, rolls and salads if they would be successful. Maybe for the oldies but certainly not for the kids.

You must be lucky up in he North. I've seen some of the rest rooms from these establishments where you stand in urine and the stench is on the nose. Tables full off peoples rubbish that is not cleared and nor tables wiped, So people have no where to sit.
They might be busy serving people, but that's no excuse for the manager not to delegate on team member to do the dirty work. It is harming those store's images.
Blame it on the filthy patrons, but that is no excuse for keeping the store filthy.
