One thing I can't work out is why all these fast food outlet even have such large store fronts when all they really need is a smaller footprint with a drive through.
It seems the walk-in customer is treated with little respect.
It seems all the staff are attending to drive through customers.
So the lazy ones that won't get out of their cars and backsides get priority service whilst the ins tore customers are forced to wait.

I remember once in Ipswich, whilst staying on the RAAF base we had a big night out and stopped at Maccas on the way home. Problem was we were in a Toyota Coaster and they restaurant was shut.Drive through only. So we lined up in groups of four and pretended we were in a car. The local bogans were a bit confused.

I'm NOT advertising, but
We have just installed a proper coffee machine!

So my coffee consumption has gone ballistic.
Be interesting to see if many tourist buy it once the season starts?

BTW We sell mobs of salad sandwiches.

Mum and Dad went through Bordertown the other night.
Stopped for a cuppa tea.

1st stop at a Hotel................. was served up a cup of frothed milk, with a teabag on the side.

Moved on to a roadhouse............. cup of frothed milk, with a teabag in it.

????????
Must be a regional thing.

Our local Micky D's at Morayfield Qld is clean,restrooms spotless,both the coffee and food is hot and the day & evening staff clean effient,we have been stopping there each Monday evening after dog training (wife is an instructor) for the last 4 years

cant say we've had that problem but then again we only have used the drive though once.

When travelling we usually set off early morn and take a thermos and some sangers, along with some home made sausage rolls. We wrap the sausage rolls in foil and about an hour before we will be pulling up for a feed I sit them in on the manifold. When we eventually pull up they are warmed through and right for eating.
