    Lost, fire truck.

From Coraki fire station. Stolen last night then abandoned a few hundred metres away. On the surface it seems quite amusing, but it would have been no laughing matter if somebody's house caught fire. Don't these types of moron consider cause and effect?

Morons aren't smart enough to consider cause and effect.
Probably going through the Stupid Teenager phase - usually passes after a couple of years.

Additional delay now too as the truck will need to be pored over to ensure nothing done to or with equipment, any ba gear will have to be sanitised,

Mechanical check to ensure it didnt go a few laps before ending up where found.

    This puts everyone at risk.

Also now the station and equipment therein was it damaged? Check all station etc... now spend money on the extra service, equipment checks security update etc...

Sadly all this comes from the meagre budget they get

    Not a fan at all

A bit more depth here, including the fact that after "parking" it, they took the firetruck keys home with them....

(I don't have to spell it out, do I?) .

A slap on the wrist and maybe even a gb bond will be in order at next week's local court no doubt.
