Don't know where he is now. I take it you won't be driving to Tullamore We will be in Co. Westmeath next week for a few days. Always seems strange to me when I go to the midlands, it's so flat and you can see for miles. Up here you can only see to the nearest hill!

I Won't be driving from here,no. You can't do that these days without going through a war zone.

Its the vastness of the bogs that amazes me. I like the hillier country better. myself.
    Cheers, Billy.

I enjoy tramping about the hills myself. I've posted the odd winter photo here taken on my outings. Happy trails and a safe journey

We were down in the midlands at Lough Derravaragh. No t.v. and no mobile coverage to speak of but we enjoyed ourselves.
    Here's some photos.
The first is the view from the kitchen window. The second is breakfast outside planning the day ahead. Three and four are of the lake while five is a "crannog", an artificial manmade island.

The first is more lakey stuff.
The second is of some fishermen .
The third is a view from the lake of where we were staying. It was an old house done up, basic but nice if you can live without mobile coverage and t.v.! Have plans to go back as soon as circumstances permit. YIPPEE!!!!!!
