I'm lead to believe it can stabilise but not reverse the condition? Mine has been pretty steady for a long time so doesn't seem necessary. I'd do it in a heart beat if it meant i could even wear glasses or disposable contacts...
Hello All,
I am just wondering if anyone here has had the procedure Corneal Cross-linking done on their eyes? A local ophthalmologist suggested that my right eye is a classic candidate for the procedure. I was not given much further information other than look it up on the interweb thingySomething which I have done
Accessed March 31 2016 from, Corneal Crosslinking - Helpful for Keratoconus?
It is a United States published article and I am wondering whether anyone here in Australia has had it done?
I have Keratoconus in both eyes, with my right eye being the most affected of the two eyes.
It would be good to find out more about the procedure from someone who "has been there and done that".
Kind Regards
Lionel

Hello Stuart,
Thank you for your reply.
I have a big gap between my vision levels between my left eye and my right. With my left RGP lens in I can read very well. To be able read with my right eye even with the special contact lens in I still need to wear glasses, or perhaps a monocle.
Apparently cross-linking would get the right eye back up to the left eye's level of vision. I just found out about it two days ago.
Kind Regards
Lionel
