Hi Andy.
I use MemoryMap for my raster based mapping, I find the free 1:250,000 topo maps ok for most stuff I do. Street nav is using good old Google Maps. Marine is Navionics. I have all three Apps installed on both my phone and tablet. General day-to-day I use the phone in its mount using Google Maps generally when required. When touring I use swap my RAM mount over to the tablet and use MemoryMap. I use the tablet in the boat also.
As long as you stay on the same platform (i.e. Apple or Android), once you have bought an App, you can download it on to as many devices linked to that account as you like. It is the same as if you replace your device and have to reload everything again, you don't have to buy them again.
Cheers,
Cheers Chris.
I have a 9" HDS in the boat, with the navionics 3d mapping, must remember to use the app, from memory it interfaces with the HDS.
Will look into the nav mapping for the road.
Thanks
Andrew
