Compression test done with all air intake removed
How old and how many km's on it?
13 years and 230,000 k's. It was running beautifully and suddenly lost all compression.

What was the result of the compression test, no compression could be a number of things, rings not sealing in bores, valves held open, holes in pistons.Quote:

Full service done 6 weeks ago including timing belt etc. New filters fitted of course. I saw them today, clean
Sad news. The engine dropped the inlet valve on no 1 cylinder. Shattered to bits and apparently sucked around motor. Block destroyed. Looks like I have to find a replacement engine. :(:wacko::wacko:
