I didn't know Aussie sheep made jokes. I thought the just ate grass and made Jumpers. They're cleaver aren't they?
Cheers, Billy.
Keeping it simple is complicated.
Theres some work around gordie, seasonal here though, plenty in auckland lol. yeah struggling with wages here, ive done the costs and its pretty on par with aus living costs. so you'd be considered a aussie two times over keith, 30 years is the standard to be considered aussie isnt it?
Yeah bro, I'm married to one from Pukekohe, just south of Auckland.
Love going over there and am looking to buy a place around Rotorua as a holiday house or a batch on a section as the Ram Rooters call them.
Hope to retire next year and spend a few months of the year over there Huntin Shootin Fishin.
My wife is fairly easy to understand having lived here for 30 years but after a visit home I have to listen to "We hud a wunderful time with the fumily. It was sweet as, Choice. I hud sum Choclate Fush and Punkie Bars thut I put in my chilly bun and bought home".

I left in 67 for Oz, worked around for a couple of years then went to PNG untill 79.
Bought a seaside block at Matawhi bay near Russell, Bay of Islands with an old shack on it. Flew back to Bougainville, sent all our stuff there and intended to sail back in the yacht. Got as far as Honiara and a Solicitor called us and said my brother had sold the block from under us. No warning. One day I ll shoot the bugger.
Changed course and headed to Mooloolaba. Havnt looked back since.

Gezz i bet the brother isn't on the Christmas card list. Bet mooloolaba was pristine then!. lived at maroochy and palmwoods in the late 90's, don't like it much there anymore, turned into a little goldcoast!.
about 50,000 kiwis are in love with the Gold Coast.
Kiwis are now the largest national group in Australian detention centres such as Christmas Island.

And as a kiwi...I have no problem with that, live in another country.....or your own for that matter.....don't commit crime, or pay the price if you do.
