Not at all.Quote:
Bit premature, seeing they haven't even completed getting forms out to everyone isn't it?
The field force is checking every house to see if they are occupied or holiday houses, whether the resident actually received a form and giving forms out where the resident has not received one or wants to do the form on paper rather than on line.
In addition they correct mistakes like where houses don't exist eg being rebuilt, units replaced by houses etc.
And where the resident has done the form on line they take the receipt number and note it to stop follow up action.

I wonder where they are doing this? Despite contacting them seven times (and the local member four times) I have yet to succeed in getting either a login or a form, and they have admitted that my place is not on their database, despite having been covered in the last four censuses, and the address being correctly recorded on the electoral roll and council records.
And it seems that at least in this area, I am not alone, although I suspect I have put more effort into trying to do their work for them than others have.
Unfortunately, I am leaving for Adelaide tomorrow, and will be away for most of the time up to the 23rd. Very unfortunate, but they can't say I have not done my bit to try and fill in the census.

Just finished mine online.. easy as!
Heard nothing from them. No form, no letter, nothing.
Not chasing them, if they try to fine me it shows they have my address, and it goes to the high court if necessary.

They won't fine you, if they have your address, someone will show up eventually to ask if you can complete it. It's only when you refuse face to face on more than one occasion that you will get a fine. If they don't have you on thier data base, then nothing will happen at all - you're invisible to the Government, just like JDNSW. Pickles will be jealous. :D
Less than 100 people were fined during the last Census.
If you are invisible to the gov't do you have to pay tax?
I just got a letter in the mail today advising me I can do the census on line and supplying logon details.
I sent my paper form in more than a week ago.
10 Days on and still there are those who haven't seen a form or log in. Not just a few either. By any standard you'd have to say it's a total stuff up. Any information gathered now is useless.
