Hi Mrs hh - I guess you could chance it on gumtree but you may get a few whackos - there is always the enthusiast magazine tomm.net.au which may include more serious people, you can view their current listing online.

May as well put up a sign at Camden and stick in the markets on here for your friend as well....

Hope it works out well for you both - Laurie

The farm machinery market is a bit more distributed than car sales. You can try Farm Machinery & Equipment - Irrigation, Pumps & Tractors - farmmachinerysales.com.au and there's the fairfax owned https://www.agtrader.com.au

There seem to be a few others around as well and as mentioned ebay and gumtree also feature, I bought a woolpress off gumtree last week.

My bros inlaw sells tractors all sorts from old fergies and others, ebay gets a lot of tossers, gumtree a lot of time waters. or people with dreams and no money, they don't want too pay much. I think he did also mention that selling stuff without roll bars can land you in trouble if some one injures themselves. If sold as a farm tractor it must have a bar on it (Workcover in Victoria anyway, apparently,) if sold as a garden ornament or for restore then not necessary, but get in it signed in writing that is is sold as such to cover yourself.
Try the weekly times ( the farmers paper) or some thing like buy swap and sell on the radio if you have the time to do it.
