Thread: the home less

I think you've got a point Boa, but I think its wider than homelessness alone.

Maybe I'm on the way to being a grumpy old man, but society in general seems meaner and less kind than the past. I don't really know why.

You see it on the roads - with total lack of basic courtesy, you see it in the way society treat the homeless, the way society treats the disabled, the way we seem to treat any "minority" group that doesn't seem to "fit"

You see it all over the internet - even here on occasions, when people jump all over someone for having a different opinion.

Pity, cause I've found a kind act often has benefits both parties.

Lets hope none of us or our families ever face homelessness, you are right, it's frightening how fast some people find themselves there...

Yep very true about most people being only a handful of pay packets away. For many in can be a 1 or two choices or a single event that take them on that trajectory at a rapid pace.
