Another new Deefer today, this one was black, with the lunch box hanging off the side.

The lunch box thing sticks out like dogs gonads, didn’t look good at all.

Anyway, horses for courses,no pics it was too quick.

I can see the lunch box being handy for the water wash option/accessory for the beach or maybe tyre compressor. Although I wouldn’t pay a heap for this feature, as I don’t get stressed about sand now, even with the L322. Don’t drive on the beach if you get upset about sand getting everywhere.

But I think the box would look a bit scruffy after some use with bugs and stones hitting it.

I saw my 1st New Defender in the flesh at Bunnings Rocklea last Saturday, shortly after 18-00, no pic as it was dark and would've needed a flash. Looked good in Pangea Green I think, also seemed a bit narrower and shorter than I expected. I think I saw the same one, same place while I was driving in yesterday but I had parking trouble so forgot about it until I was leaving by which time it had left.

This weekend I came across a new Defender on a dirt road near Jimboomba or "The Boomba" as I like to call it. Light blue with white roof, might've even been a shorty IIRC, they were going too fast and I had to quickly take evasive action. Pro'ly new to 4wd'ing and don't realise that just because you can go fast doesn't mean you should.

I got my first glimpse of a new Defender a couple of weeks ago. I say glimpse, he was northbound, I south, on Beckett Road.
