SA currently consuming 2.1MW
SA currently generating 1.6MW


means the interconnect is running close to capacity.
i think the interconnector is being turned off this weekend for maintenance.


good thing those wind farms can ramp up and prevent load shedding.

Good thing the SA government has decided it can't rely on other states and has called tenders to build a new gas-fired plant

the wind profile for the next couple of days looks like its made to order... and maybe they can get those unreliable old fossil fuel powered generators to go again.
