There would have a brown tinge coming out of this cage.

He wasn't in the cage when the shark was in there.

There's a trap door in the bottom of the cage, and the diving instructor who had been in the cage baled out through the bottom door as the shark was bashing its way in through the side. He then re-entered the cage and came out through the top after the shark had left.

But yes - the shark cage was probably made from imported Chinese steel and assembled by qualified and experienced Mexican fabricators.

That cage was fabbed by the same mob that got the contract for SA's electric pylons.

Cant help but wonder with the amount of blood coming out of that sharks gills , if the 2 other white pointers had an easy feed on the 1 that got away.

Jump off a perfectly good boat into a cage and you deserve what you get.

why is there so much malice for sharks?

they are a magnificent animal and should be left alone.

I don't see any malice in any of the posts. I personally have a great respect for them and won't deliberately try to harm them as I believe they have their place in the food chain (top of it) and cull the weak, sick and injured from their prey. Different story if they attack me or my boat, naturally I will then defend myself!. Better the other 2 clean up the one that went into the cage that appears to have injured itself rather than the diver. They have no hesitation in cannibalising one of their own. That's all that was inferred I believe.
