Hmm guess that means interactions with my employer is a no no . Got my tin foil hat , so thought crimes are not possible to detect.
Just hoping that if the marijuana legalisation in Canada goes ahead on July 1 I can go to Canberra, visit the embassy and celebrate without fear of a one way plane ride.😆

There is no Canadian Embassy in Canberra - at least in Canberra, you only get on the spot fines for pot not Court.

Penalties start at $100 fines for simple cannabis offences, and range up to $250 000 fines and life imprisonment for more serious cannabis offences.

The SCON scheme allows for a person to possess up to 50 grams of dried cannabis, or two cannabis plants (excluding all hydroponically or artificially cultivated cannabis plants) where it is deemed by police to be for personal use only they can be issued a penalty order fine. If the fine is paid within 60 days, no criminal record will be recorded. However failure to pay the penalty order may result in criminal proceedings before the court. Possession of any amount of cannabis in the ACT is NOT legal it is only decriminalised.

So theoretically I can get stoned or drunk stupid for lesser fine than for not wearing a bicycle helmet I NSW ? I bet I would get caught more often than not without a helmet than a good buzz.

If this happens I will be very happy, so that many "awful" people, who do not respect our laws, will receive appropriate punishment, and by that I mean, as Mayor Guiliani said when He became Mayor of New York, "Ya do the crime, ya do the time". Result?...Crime rate dropped 60%. We can do the same, but,.....too many do gooders in Aus, so, I will believe it when I see it,.....and I don't believe I will. Am I AFRAID?....100% I AM.
