The CB antenna on the bullbar of my work Hilux is exactly 2.0 metres off the ground. Thankfully it's the highest point of the car. I drive into inner city caparks on a weekly basis with it and I've hit boards marked 2.1...

I've also cleared boards that say 1.95.. Probably depends on how the ramp enters the carpark a bit as well I should think.

I used to drive a Transit van for work which was 2.05 - I found a selection of car parks accross the city that I knew I could get in and out of and stuck to those. The way I found out was to drive in carefully with the Appentice hanging out of the van sitting on the window ledge with the window wound down so he could see the top of the van.
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.

We have a local RSL where I can drive in and around the car park but to get out I have to reverse out the entrance. I don't go there all that often.

I once found a website giving information about parking stations that included the detail of height limit - that was most helpful when planning a trip interstate.

On the odd occasion I've called a car park ahead of time to ask if they really are the height they say they are. That's stopped me scraping the roof more than once.

The only bright side is that if I bring my disco to the head office of my work (which I only have to go to rarely) I get guaranteed parking on the most convenient level in the most convenient spot because I can't fit under the rest of the multi-storey car park!
