Would be like hitting a camel. I once talked to a truckie who had hit a camel near Alice. The camel ended up in the passenger seat@

These tests are pointless simply because every brainless Australian 4wdriver knows you can't be seen without a lift kit and a tonne of ARB crap hanging off your vehicle, the latest fad is a high lift, shovel and of course a set of max trax on the roof .IMHO very few 4wd's would pass ADR's after they have been ''Australianised''. I have a lift and recovery gear on the roof but luckily I have a TJM bullbar so I'm OK Pat thanks. Cheers

Defenders don't need lifting to go off road, so I don't have a problem. My recovery gear lives in the shed unless I need it.
I do crack up seeing people driving around the city with Maxtracks and usually rusty hi-lift jacks on their roof racks. I mean, are they expecting to get bogged on the way out for a latte?

    Right!
I will be very careful to avoid all the Moose around Doomadgee & Ravenshoe then!

I haven't seen any Camel around here for a few years & 99% of the Buffalo have been shot out.

Only have to worry about cattle, roo's, horses, pigs, emu, Bustards, Brolga, wild dogs, goats, donkeys, deer, wedge tails, cowboys/girls in tray backs & the most dangerous of them all - Tourist!

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

I suppose now is not a good time to say the Land Rover Defender was one of three vehicles to completely fail the moose test. It tipped over.

There was another thread with this vid in it and it listed a few more notable fails. Apart from the Hilux failing, in the last few years, the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Porsche Macan, Defender, Mercedes A-Class, and all 70 Series Land Cruisers, amongst others have not passed either.

Thanks for that. Probably a good reason for Land Rover to catch up , and build a state of the art Defender.

This one made it to the 3rd row seats

OMG. Maybe the best advice is to brake and duck, if swerving isnt going to work.
