I loaned my Merc diesel 4WD to a friend (my 1st mistake),
and they decided to be kind and refill the tank. Knowing nothing about diesel cars they went to the truck bowsers at a highway servo (their 1st mistake),
and started to refuel the car from the Ad-Blue bowser (their 2nd mistake), then after adding about half a tank they realised they had stuffed up and decided to move the car to the non-truck bowsers (their 3rd mistake).
When I got the call from them that it had died and wouldn't start again, I managed to avoid threatening lethal consequences (maybe my 2nd mistake!)
It ended up costing them about $3k to rectify.
