Yes there was tons of hail, but luckily not at our place.
It seemed to hit in patches, one vineyard would be stripped bare then another next to it barely touched, then a kay or two up the road another stripped bare. There are a lot of cars around with hail damage, I even seen a vid of guy driving along when it hit and it smashed his windscreen.
There are reports of more and more damage reports coming out all the time. Luckily no lives were lost, unlike the earthquake in New Zealand. Overall what happened here is nothing compared to what the people in that area are faced with.

Currently 36 outside in Bakers Hill - shouldn't have winged about the cold last week! It's also windy & the bush fire risk level is at Very High.

due to hit 30c tomorrow with high winds. 13.nothing and hissing down at the weekend - so a bit of a change.

We got 40degC yesterday,gale force HOT northerly winds and a farm fire.Fortunately the crops were still a bit green so they carried the fire a lot slower.Another week and it would have been a very different story,record crops everywhere here.
Today,didnt even make 20degC.Overcast,drizzle and heavy showers.Had to stand my water carts down at 2.30pm,the road was too wet.The last few days they couldn't bring enough to keep the dust down,nevermind wet the gravel.Got a semi trailer and 10000lt 6 wheeler,was ready to set up the other 10000lt 6 wheeler tank,wont need to now:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:.

We got rain here yesterday, and it's bloody freezing today. :eek:

I'm off shortly to get another load of woodchip from around the young bloke's place after we recently removed a couple of large trees and had the stumps ground out. Probably two more good trailer loads and I'll have it all done.

Then to start cleaning out and re-arranging my shed ............................... :cool:

suffering a bit today with the arthritic knuckles.
