As an American member of the forum (still residing in the USA) I can confirm that this appears to have been going on the States for a number of years........ perhaps the Brits are behind recent electoral events and the rondabouts were simply foreshadowing? :-)
Seriously though, I've read this 'letter' before, am well aware of the rest of the world and (either in spite of that or because of it, TBD) find it to bring a smile to my face every time I read it.
