Very comprehensive report with an excellent insite to the Island for those unlucky buggers that havent been. Some great pics as well although none of the Maheno - is it still there.
Haven't been for about 3 years and are now suffering from withdrawals after reading your report :cry:

DONE A Driver training at Mt Cotton on Monday for work
the instructors couldn't work out why I couldn't loose the
Disco on the skid pan at 40kh when their was a patrol that
couldn't mait around any of the skid pan at 30kh.
Then at the end the instuctor was standing out on the track
and he noticed that I have traction control.
He said that was the first time he had seen a Disco on the Skid
pan

:roll: gday vlad,good report ,although you made great mention of going to Eli creek quite often ,BUT,not one pic of the famous area at all,whats the go,also put a pic of the litehouse in your report so you can see what you missed(whoose!!! https://www.aulro.com/afvb/ )it is quite a good stroll up the hill,but well worth the view,all the way out to the end of the 32 kilometre sandbar,and all the history of the litehouse ,would have thought you being the maritime buff you are would have insisted on the trip :roll: am hoping to get back up there again this trip ,and with a new digi camera get some pics of the info and history boards around the litehouse,oh,and maybe get some of eli creek 8) https://www.aulro.com/afvb/
Yeah well it was all I could do to get Mrs Vlad to Sandy Cape at all, so the lighthouse will be something for next time! You're right though - I should have gone. Went to the Moreton one when I was over there...

:roll:twas just wondering if eli had changed at all from last time i was there,the first time i was there it headed UP the beach for aprox. half a kilometre,then last time it headed DOWN the beach and was a cinch to cross, so was just wondering where it was heading now(other than out to sea!!!!!!!!!!! 8) :roll: ),spose i will find out in17 days hey!!! 8) 8)
