    Im inclined to agree. But mine has been hotter, up to 100 on the flat where I chose not to push it any further and I wouldn't consider the driving or ambient conditions to have been extreme.
    Who knows how accurate our temp readings are.
    Btw I have the PEL500110 thermostat which is supposedly fully open at 88.

    My temps were from a scan gauge I fitted for that purpose.Towing in fifth around 90km/hr helps in those conditions. Pat
