Where you heading for Christmas hoildays

I'm off down to Dunsborough to see some friends (they have Defender tray-back and a D2 Td5 so don't worry about me, they're reputable) and then I take the Defender on to Gnarrabup (on the coast near Margaret River) to catch up with some mates from Victoria who are down there (not so reputable, they have a Pr*do back in Vic and will usually borrow a 78series when over here).

I'm not camping (far from it, the holiday place I ve been given is bigger and better appointed than my home) but I hope to get down to some tracks to the beach.

My main worry is figuring out what beer I want to take. Looking through the specials. Cooper, James Squires, Little Creatures - decisions decisions

Sweet **** all, Camping in QLD unless it's on the beach is too hot and I'll be working after the main days of Chrissie (by choice, good chance to make some brass :mrgreen:

Got the pool at home, plenty of beer and the Rangie to keep me company if I wish to go for a drive up to Double Island point https://www.aulro.com/afvb/

have any of you queensland guys been to the North point of Bribie Island and camped up there????

Not a bad place to go and close to everything - about 30 min drive up the beach from the Surf club.

you now need a $100 permit to drive up plus your camping fees....
