My D1 300 Tdi didn't get this ...
wrong one sent. And from what I've researched, the one sent looks like a 200 Tdi version.
After a considerable amount of questioning from the family as to what I would like for Christmas I decided that they could contribute to one of these for the Defender.
Unfortunately it was ordered so late that it's still being made/in transit so I'll not be installing it today

Tote

My 1994 Disco got a completely reconditioned engine and a new toque converter Battery and a couple of tires very early new year
My 2010 110 got a new oil filter case and filter as the original started to weep slightly and going on a trip very soon I didn't want to risk any problems.
Don't know why it should have done that as it gets a new sealing ring whenever the oils changed (every 10K) but better safe than stuck somewhere with no oil/cooked engine!
Will change the oil when I get back prior to selling it.
Merry Xmas all.

PS. Case wasn't cheap either as I had to buy from Ford as none of the LR places including the stealer had one.....![]()
Our 300TDI Disco got a wash,a pair of Antlers on the side windows and a Red Nose, with red tree trimming wrapped around the top of the brush bar.![]()
The old girl got a few early pressies. Over the past month the tie rod ends , and other bits were reconditioned , so no more wobbly steering or thinks. Then a new set of filters and oil. A happy td5 again![]()
Apt guards all round!

It's not leaking oil, it's bleeding power.
My Vogue got a nice relaxing drive from Adelaide to Brisbane for Christmas. Average speed of just under 100kph and fuel use of under 10 litres per hundred km.
For New Years it will get the return journey, but with the whole family on board.
