    here is the details:

After 9am Pacific Highway - normally a 60 zone, but as there is a High School close by so its drops to a 40 Zone - bastards.

Don't get me wrong, fully agree with school zones and I am one of those drivers that flash other driver in my village to slow down, but outside High Schools on Pacific HIGHWAY after 9am???

Surely all the kids should be at school by 9am???
How can a Highway be reduced to such a walking pace???
And if the not so little bastards at High schools cannot work out that is a road then quite frankly they should not be at school!!!

    END of rant!!!

Sorry mate, nothing you can do.... Your gone!

Been there, done that.... Back in the day so to speak.

I got done once 110km/h in a 25 km/h zone. Huge fine and loss of license.

Sounds bad until you realise it was highway roadworks sign, west of Kimba, 1 am, nobody around (except the cop in the patrol car).

They had finishes road works in the arvo and left the damn sign there, in the dark I hadnt noticed it, but the cop knew! He'd been sitting waiting for trucks etc and instead bagged a hi-po ford! 8O

Suppose it could have been worse, had been coming over the Bight at over 170km/h for most of the day

Like I said, that was back in the day.... Now I'm content to just cruise the limits... (man, what am I saying)

    Cheers
    Mike

thought there was a story on on of those crap shows 60 mins / ACA etc that any radar etc had to be used under perfect conditions???

Perfect conditions according to the manufacturers was straight road, no incline and no vehciles in front of you etc???
