No, not legal - at least in Vic. Assuming he has no oversize permits with him and I can't see what signage may or may not be on the back of the truck, so load no wider than 2.5 metres (making an educated guess it is way over that), overhang looks too far, but without knowing details of the vehicle, hard to tell. That's all before we talk about load restraint (or lack of).
Maybe he is relying on a element of truss.....t [bighmmm] Ok ok not that good

Here's something you don't see every day - a dual cab Pajero. Not a very good job. I think I'd just buy a Triton instead.
