Hi,
I've seen a row of cut hay tangle round the rear uni joint on a Valiant and stop it.
Took about 30 minutes with a hacksaw to clear it.
Cheers
Seen this exact same thing on a near new Rodeo. Woman came in to my work at the time, said was making a funny noise. Put it on the hoist and was the same as this pic. Took ages to get it off. Couldnt use a grinder coz there was a fuel pump being done in the shop. Did it with small bolt cutters after we took pics to show GMH execs...
Apologies if this has been on here before.

Try unwinding a garden hose off a ride on mower cutter deck. Or worse...weed mat!
We get bits of wire around the driveshafts or caught under the vehicles all the time on the Farm.
Only good thing is the D4 can raise up which makes it easier to drag out,but often its still bloody difficult, particularly at night.
